Broan 355BR Roof Attic Fan

The Roof Attic Fan 355BR by Broan has a brown dome to match the color of your roof. This automatic thermostat helps the temperature in your attic stay below the 200 degree's in the summer. With the Automatic thermostat you can dial to come on between 76 and 120 degrees. This Roof Attic Fan is a 1200 CFM exhaust fan that mounts directly on your roof. Other options like a gable fan can be added to the ends of the home with out cutting the roof if that is a concern. Roof matching domes means attic fan is less noticeable choose from a black or brown. Too often, attic ventilation is overlooked, not to mention ignored as an opportunity for energy savings. Consider this, air trapped in your attic can easily reach 200degrees or more.

With Broan's Roof Attic Fan and ventilation solutions, it's still a full 60 degrees cooler in the attic on a 90 degree day. That's why attic fans/ventilation is critical to making any home more comfortable while lowering energy costs. Air conditioners can run less and won't have to work as hard. Humid, stagnant air can be removed, drawing fresh dry air across the surfaces. Your attic can be drier and cooler - the perfect tools to help fight potential moisture damage.

Each PVC dome is available in three popular performance ratings along with two metal dome models. Select one that best suits the attic size and shingle color.

How to calculate the CFM needed for your attic application

One square foot of unobstructed inlet area is required for every 300 CFM output.

Multiply your attic square footage by .7 for minimum air delivery need to exhaust the attic. For darker roofs add 15% to the CFM you just calculated. For exceptionally large attics use 2 fans and have sufficient exhaust  or it will put the heat back down into the house.
