QuietCool RM ES-2200FLT Roof Mount Fan
Roof mount fans usually present a challenge to most HVAC, construction and electrical contractors when it comes to configuring quiet, roof mount ventilation. Traditional roof mount fans are typically noisy, draw huge amounts of energy, or are difficult to install due to odd roof lines. QuietCool solves all these problems. First, we adapted our ECM motors to serve the needs of smaller homes and larger homes. The RM ES-2200 moves 2,245 CFM at just 197 watts and is great for smaller homes. Most challenging for homeowners is selecting the correct fan based on roof pitch. QuietCool solves that problem, too. The FLT model fits flat roof to a 2 1/2 pitch. The CRB model fits flat roofs that require a curb mount. The SLP model fits sloped roofs from 3/12 to 6/12 pitch. A QuietCool Roof Mount Fan can be adapted to both ducted and non-ducted installations. When there is not enough attic space to install a ducted roof mount fan system, or if the consumer simply doesn’t want a system venting into the attic, a non-ducted roof mount fan is a great alternative. If you will be using your QuietCool Roof Mount fan as a whole house fan without a duct, you will need to purchase the DG-CB-1418 kit. If you will be using your QuietCool Roof Mount fan as a whole house fan with a duct, you will need to purchase the RM-KIT-2200.
